Full Time Eligible 80 Hours per pay period. Four days per week Sunday - Saturday 6:45am-5:15pm Rotating weekends. On Call and Trauma Call required. High school graduation or equivalent. Graduate of an approved technical/vocational program for surgical technicians. Current Certified Surgical Technologist required. Current BLS card from American Heart Association required. Current ACLS card from American Heart Association preferred. Must have a minimum of Five years of Surgical Tech/Scrubbing experience in a multi-speciality environment. Ability to scrub independently in all speciality areas. Experience in robotics is a plus. Experience in Level 1 or II Trauma preferred. Certification required. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides technical support during nursing care of the surgical patient according to the Standards of Practice and policies of the hospital and department, in order to ensure effective departmental services.
