Job Description:
ER - RN II, Emergency Room
The Emergency Department is a community Emergency Room with 20 patient beds. Operating out of two nursing bays, the Emergency Room sees about 100 patients per day. The patient population is comprised of mostly adults with some pediatric patients. Working along side an experienced physician, the team is comprised of RN's, Paramedics, Patient Care Associates (PCAs) and Unit Secretaries.
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Clinical Manager, the qualified RN candidate would be accountable for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient. The RN coordinates care between other professional disciplines as needed.
Experience:
Qualified candidates must possess a current Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS & PALS. A minimum of one year experience in a fast-paced emergency department required. Excellent communication, computer and customer service skills required.
