Job Description : The Assistant Director of Nursing of the unit will have the overall responsibility of the skilled unit. This position takes on the responsibilities of the nursing department for the skilled unit as may be delegated. He/she provides assistance in the functioning of the nursing skilled unit. In addition, he/she assists and supports the translation of the nursing philosophy of the unit into nursing practice by participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing care delivery system.

Qualifications : A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required and a minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity is preferred.
