We currently seek a Pediatrics Diabetes Educator to facilitate education and counseling provided to children and adolescents with diabetes and their families in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
We require:
- Minimum 5 years clinical nursing experience in pediatrics, prior diabetes education experience preferred.
- BSN from an accredited college, MSN preferred.
- Current licensure as a professional registered nurse in New York State, Certification as a Diabetes Educator by the National Certification Board of Diabetes Educators preferred.
- Must meet the standard contact hours required by the National Standards for Diabetes Patient Education Programs.
