SUMMARY PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION: Coordinate or complete, as required, performance improvement and risk management activities and tasks among staff and with entities inside the organization – using best practices within the field – in order to comply with accreditation and licensing standards. Schedule regular meetings with program staff, in order to ensure the presence and use of a planned, systematic approach to identify, prioritize and assess appropriate performance improvement activities. Contribute to identification and design of performance improvement initiatives as well as the assessment of progress, by assuming an active, involved role with program staff. Ensure that education and in-service training on various aspects of performance improvement is provided to staff. Using manuals and guidelines, prepare, monitor, lead, and ensure organizational compliance with applicable JCAHO standards, licensing and certification requirements, and directives promulgated by the Hospital in order to assist the hospital in retaining accreditation and licensure. Participate in Diamond’s scheduled compliance meetings/conference calls to keep abreast of and use best practices.
Must be a graduate of one of the following:
- State Accredited School of Nursing
- State Accredited School of Clinical Social Work
- State Accredited School of Psychology
With current State registration (preferred).
