Pedal to the metal

Many Southern states mobilized quickly last year in order to begin the process of meeting the goals outlined in the Institute of Medicine’s and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s report “The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health.” The effort will entail years of work, until 2020 and perhaps beyond, to meet all eight of the recommendations.
