Objectives:


The goal of this program is to update healthcare professionals’ clinical knowledge of osteoarthritis and its management. After you study the information presented here, you will be able to —

  • Identify three characteristics relevant to the diagnosis of OA.
  • List pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic therapies for the treatment of OA.
  • Identify the elements of a disease management program for OA.
