This course has been approved for 4 clock hours by the Commission on Case Manager Certification from January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2008.

The purpose of this course is to explain how the home health industry developed, the regulations that govern it, and the role of the nurse within it.

When you complete this course, you will be able to:

3. List three or more nursing specialties in clinical home care practice.
   
   
4. State the relationship between regulations and standards in the community regarding coordination of care.

7. Define the OASIS and describe its relationship to outcomes management.
