The goals of this program are to update nurses' knowledge about the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with tuberculosis (TB) and multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDRTB); hepatitis A, B, and C; and HIV/AIDS, and to review basic principles of prevention and infection control.
